ABOUT
ORANA [oh-raNa] means ’WELCOME’
At the core of our constitution is a deep desire to provide an unforgettable experience.
Orana has been designed in way that whomever enters the land is welcomed with warm and loving open arms.
We want you to feel held by our space.
We aim to provide a place where people can momentarily let go of their everyday life and be transported to a place of serenity and stillness.
A place where people have a chance to reconnect with themselves again, with their nature and to the incredible nature expressed here.
At Orana we provide you with the space to host your vision.
We welcome you to utilise our facilities and our land to bring to life your dream retreat.
Orana is the vessel that will allow you to share your retreat experience with the world and in turn welcome people to immerse themselves in your offering.
This is what the Orana retreat space provides.

The Founder
Samantha Bachofen von Echt
While walking the Spanish Camino de Santiago in 2019, founder Samantha had an idea that led to the emergence of Orana.
She envisioned a place where people could escape the outside world and rediscover themselves without the distractions of ego, materialism, occupation, technology, and status.
Orana's focus is grounded in simplicity and nature, allowing guests to connect with the land's healing energy. This vision is slowly unfolding, offering a stunning space for individuals to strip back and find clarity.
Samantha is also mother to four beautiful children, avid world traveller and passionate people person who simply wants others to experience the healing energy, tranquillity, and rewards she has personally felt from her own journey of self love and her experience of Orana.
She purchased the property 10 years ago, which was in a run-down state, and set out to make it spectacularly beautiful. She succeeded. Orana, situated within 400 acres of private land, now spans over 120 acres of native bushland and manicured parklands with lakes, walking trails, and an abundance of flora and fauna.
